In June 2019, Najada diving was involved in a marine biology project to investigate damages to sea grass in frequented bays. The project, which took place in October, was the logical continuation, namely how such damage could be repaired.

Marine Biology – SASPAS Project in Kornati
SASPAS stands for Safe Anchoring and Sea Grass Protection in the Adriatic Sea.
Each diver tries to swim over the sea grass to the wall as fast as possible. For marine biologists, however, the sea grass meadows are an important indicator of the condition of the underwater landscape.
A SASPAS international project is evaluating the damaging effect of anchoring on Posidonia Oceanica. Sunce (HR) and Selc (I), together with Najada diving, have documented the condition of two bays in the Kornati National Park that are regularly visited by tourists.
