SAMOGRAD

Samograd ist eine der südlichsten Kornaten Inseln. Vor der Insel erstreckt sich in N-S Richtung eine Steilwand, die ab 22m dicht von Roten Gorgonien bewachsen ist. Unter dem üblichen Einstieg befindet sich ein kleines Plateau, das sehr oft von Langusten besiedelt wird. Der Bewuchs von Roten Gorgonien wechselt zu gelben und dann treten Schwefelschwämme auf. Der Weg zurück führt über das Seegras zu interessanten Felsformationen in geringer Tiefe. Samograd ist einer der schönsten Tauchplätze in der Umgebung. Samograd is the most southern island of Kornati. In front of the island a wall goes from south to north. Descending you see red Fan Corals from 22 meters onward. Pay a visit to a small plateau in 33 meters where usually lobsters dwell. On your way along the wall the red Fan Corals grow deeper and are replaced by yellow ones and after a while Sulphur Sponges appear. Ascend over the sea grass with schools of fish to the little wall beneath the water line of the island and go safely back to the boat. Enjoy it, it is one of the most beautiful dive sites in the Kornati area. Distance from Murter: 10 M Levels: all, gorgonian advanced
